Vandaag vond de eerste zittingsdag van de grootste klimaatrechtszaak ooit plaats in het Internationaal Gerechtshof in Den Haag. Het mini-eilandenstaatje Vanuatu wil uitsluitsel over de internationale verplichtingen van VN-leden aangaande het klimaat. Het eiland hoopt wereldwijde klimaatactie af te dwingen. Er worden de komende tijd honderden getuigen gehoord.
