De gemeente Eindhoven wil de Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) overnemen. Die is nu nog in handen van de Britse investeringsmaatschappij Capreon. ‘Dit is echt cruciale economische infrastructuur, niet alleen voor de stad en de regio, maar voor heel Nederland,’ zegt verantwoordelijk wethouder Stijn Steenbakkers (CDA). De aankoop moet nog worden voorgelegd aan de Eindhovense gemeenteraad.
