De ontmoeting tussen de Amerikaanse president Donald Trump en de Russische president Vladimir Poetin in Alaska heeft geen concrete resultaten opgeleverd. De twee leiders waren meer dan 2,5 uur met elkaar in gesprek. ‘Over sommige belangrijke punten zijn we het niet eens geworden’, zei Trump tijdens de persconferentie na afloop van het gesprek. Amerika-correspondent Jan Postma: ‘De top was uiteindelijk een mislukking’.
