Biotechnoloog Galapagos wil stoppen met zijn activiteiten op het gebied van celtherapie. Daardoor dreigt onder meer de sluiting van de vestiging in Leiden. Volgens Thieu Vaessen, redacteur biotechnologie en farmacie bij het FD, is het over en uit met Galapagos in Nederland. Het bedrijf is door verschillende mislukkingen in een vrije val beland.
