De Amerikaanse centrale bank Fed heeft de rente onveranderd gelaten, de rente blijft nu op het niveau van tussen de 3,5 en de 3.75 procent, zegt voorzitter Jerome Powell. 'De Fed is wat positiever geworden over de economische groei, ze constateren dat de inflatie nog altijd te hoog is', zegt BNR's huiseconoom Han de Jong.
