China heeft twintig Japanse bedrijven op de zwarte lijst gezet, en daarnaast nog eens twintig bedrijven onder streng toezicht geplaatst. Onder andere Mitsubishi Heavy Industries en Kawasaki Heavy Industries, bedrijven die leveren aan het Japanse leger, werden op de zwarte lijst gezet. Het is een nieuw hoofdstuk in de diplomatieke rel tussen Tokio en Beijing.
