Europa wil dat de motor van de Europese auto-industrie weer gaat draaien. Daarom lanceert de Europese Commissie vandaag een strategische dialoog met de Europese auto-industrie. Volgens Brussel is het tijd voor actie om de toekomst van de Europese automarkt te beschermen. De sector wil hulp bij de groene transitie, zegt directeur-generaal Sigrid de Vries van de Europese automobielfabrikantenorganisatie ACEA. ‘Autofabrikanten willen het, maar daarvoor moeten obstakels weggenomen worden.’
