De Europese Commissie zet de hoge importheffingen voor Chinese elektrische auto’s door, ondanks bezwaren van onder meer Duitsland. De extra tarieven tot wel 38 procent gaan morgen al in. Het moet een eind maken aan de oneerlijke concurrentie die China zou bedrijven door eigen fabrikanten te subsidiëren. Hoewel de tarieven voorlopig zijn, is de kans groot dat ze blijven, aldus Noud Broekhof van De Nationale Autoshow.
