In Nederland en Duitsland valt de economische groei tegen, het vertrouwen in de Amerikaanse economie neemt in rap tempo af, dus kiezen beleggers momenteel massaal voor obligaties uit Zuid-Europa. 'Het is een weerspiegeling van dat het in Zuid-Europa momenteel goed gaat', zegt internationaal econoom Steven Brakman van de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
