Problemen bij Sono Motors. De Duitse Lightyear-concurrent heeft niet genoeg geld om de Sion, een compacte zonneauto, in productie te nemen.
Laurin Hahn, CEO van de Duitse start-up, bracht het personeel op de hoogte van het nieuws en draaide er niet omheen. 'We hebben gefaald. Het is ons niet gelukt om genoeg geld op te halen en misschien is dit het einde van project Sion', zegt hij. Sono Motors hoopt binnen 50 dagen 3500 zonneauto's te verkopen om de productie alsnog op te kunnen starten.
