Franklin was encouraged by the play of his defensive line backups and also praised backup quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer and reserve running back Cam Wallace.
Franklin also said a veteran defensive lineman is close to returning. Plus, Franklin is excited about the potential of PSU kicking specialist Gabe Nwosu.
