On February 19, 2020, Hannah Clarke and her three children, Aaliyah, 6, Laianah, 4, and Trey, 3, tragically lost their lives at the hands of her ex-husband Rowan Baxter. This led to calls for urgent action on violence against women and improved recognition of coercive control as a leading cause to intimate partner femicide.
