That’s because the Reds’ first team are in FIFA Club World Cup semi-final action in Qatar 24 hours after the Villa clash. And with Jurgen Klopp in Qatar with his senior stars, that meant U23s boss Critchley deputised for the German. Critchley talked the pride he will feel at leading Liverpool out at Villa, the fitness of Rhian Brewster, and the support he will get from Klopp on the night.
