Neil Fitzmaurice is here with the latest Poetry in Motion, with plenty to get through. Joined by Joe Rimmer and Theo Squires the guys get stuck in from the off as Arsenal visit Anfield on Saturday. First up is the idea Jurgen Klopp’s side are suffering from somewhat of a slow start to the new season, despite winning both Premier League games and the UEFA Super Cup! With no major summer arrivals, there’s still room for transfer talk with Xherdan Shaqiri this week having revealed his discontent at a lack of first team opportunities. Getting onto the weekend’s action, Fitzy poses the question as to what impact VAR could have, with Liverpool’s two Premier League games having passed without incident - while the threats posed by Arsenal’s frontline are also examined.
