Two points clear at the top of the Premier League, and through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, Liverpool can have no complaints with how this season is shaping up. However, throughout the campaign, there’s been plenty of talk about how the Reds are still missing a No 10, a playmaker... a Philippe Coutinho. Now there’s no question that Liverpool got the better end of the deal when they sold the Brazilian to Barcelona for £145m in January of last year. But few could have predicted just how Coutinho would fare at Barca – so much so there are now indications that he could be sold in the summer, with Manchester United, all of clubs, one of those strongly linked to his signature. They also talk Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and the prospect of a mouthwatering Champions League semi-final between Barcelona and Liverpool.
