After South Bend and Boston, our reporting team of Ian Doyle and Kristian Walsh have headed to New York City where they met up ECHO old boy Neil Jones again to record their latest Tour Diary. Unsurprisingly, the big talking point is the horror tackle on Yasser Larouci in the 2-1 defeat to Sevilla at Fenway Park. Kristian calls it the most ludicrous game he's ever watched and wonders whether history shows that the La Liga outfit were the wisest of pre-season opponents. Talk then turns to the Reds' performance itself which has Neil wondering which attacking players have so taken far taken their chance to shine in the absence of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's displays are also assessed as is the reaction to the Larouci incident that underlined just what team spirit exists in Jurgen Klopp's squad. Enjoy.
