Matt and Willie Know the Schedule
Matt and Willie know the Bengals 2025 schedule. I mean, we all do. It was announced publicly, but we break it down for you week by week in our own style. Will this be the year the Bengals finally get the monkey off their back and come out of the gates strong? Three road games in September could make that rough. Could they give J.J. McCarthy his “Welcome to the NFL” moment? Or perhaps just a “Welcome to the Jungle” for Liam Coen. Then they start October off with the return of DJ Reader and the Detroit Lions followed by Joe Burrow’s first trip to Lambeau Field. Not only do the Bengals play a road Thursday Night game against the Baltimore Ravens, they play them again 18 days later. Oh, yeah and they play the Buffalo Bills in between. I know what I’m thankful for... intrigue. Paris runways be dammed! Apparently, the Burrow effect is not an international phenomenon, as once again Cincy was not selected to play in one of these games. They do however have a Primetime Sampler with one Sunday Night Game, one Monday Night Game, and two Thursday Night Games (including Thanksgiving). Featuring: Lightning-round win/lose predictions A six-week triumvirate analysis A strange tangent where we predict Minnesota’s meteoric decline Me forgetting a guy's name and making something up Willie’s way too early flex prediction Thanksgiving meal idea - send in your recipes! Awkward pauses The obligatory mention of Rhode Island Surprisingly no mention of Manny Jacinto And as always obscure references galore
