This week's guest is Torres Strait Islander man Bernard Namok Jrn. While visiting family in Cairns in 2022, Bernard and a friend were pulled over by police for a routine traffic stop, that took a turn for the worse.
In part one of our conversation, Bernard spoke about his experiences being racially profiled by the Queensland police as a Torres Strait Islander man, and how being wrongly accused by the justice system has impacted his life since.
