During our conversation Dave recalls memories from more than 50 years in the asphalt, paving and mining industries and how working in a family business shaped his future. Dave explains how the family business expanded gradually, leading to major infrastructural purchases like an asphalt plant and rock quarry and ultimately to his friend Todd Hoffman inviting him to be a mining advisor on a gold claim in Alaska.
