Political Prisoner Sundiata Acoli is finally free from prison. Born on January 14, 1937, Sundiata was named Clark Edward Squire before changing his name. He is a former member of the Black Panther Party and the Black Liberation Army which formed due to the COINTELPRO war waged by the FBI and law enforcement across the nation. Under the disgraceful and criminal leadership of J Edgar Hoover, the FBI targeted leftist groups, including the Black Panther Party, which saw a number of its members targeted for assassinations, political persecutions, and frame-ups for crimes.
