Show Notes

This week, the ladies chat with Nareasha Willis, the designer of AVNU Official, a luxury streetwear brand that uses controversial statements, colors and textures. Nareasha considers herself a fashion activist and is the designer who coined the phrase "Ghetto Until Proven Fashionable". She is a CFDA designer and has been featured in Vogue, Refinery 29 and Essence. Before AVNU, she launched "Black Vogue" in 2017, a brand with a mission to highlight the positive contributions of Black people in fashion. The brand was featured and praised on both Vogue and Teen Vogue. She recently launched Nuova, the first luxury capsule collection of AVNU. Blackness is the focal point as AVNU celebrates a rebirth of unwavering resistance.   __________________________________________   AVNU will be in NYC hosting a 2 day Pop Up Experience for New York Fashion Week September 9th & 10th.
