Black Girls Talk Sports Podcast features Professional Boxer Emile Griffith in honor of Caribbean American Heritage Month and Pride Month. He won five world boxing championships in the 1960s. His best-known match was against Benny Paret who died because of their fight. The bi-sexual, Caribbean American athlete retired in 1977 with 85 wins (23 knockouts), 24 losses, and 2 draws. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1990. Griffith died in 2013 at the age of 75.
