Today, we're introducing a figure of extraordinary accomplishment and influence, Mr. Vernell Trigg Jr. From his humble beginnings in Dallas and Grand Prairie, Texas, Vernell has carved a path of remarkable success, blending the worlds of technology, philanthropy, and community empowerment. Holding a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Prairie View A&M University, Vernell’s career launched at Toshiba International before he found his calling at Schneider Electric. Over two decades, he rose through the ranks to become a senior systems design engineer, designing critical data centers nationwide. His leadership and innovative contributions earned him numerous awards, including the prestigious President’s Club recognition. But Vernell’s story doesn’t end with his professional achievements. As the founder of Cynergy Collaborative Consultations, Inc., he oversees ventures in janitorial services, IT, and real estate while empowering his community. Vernell founded the Vernell & Cynthia Trigg Jr. Family Foundation, dedicated to fostering community empowerment and mentoring future generations. His involvement extends to mentoring teens through CHIP, a social service organization he co-founded in college, and his ongoing participation in various community initiatives. In this powerful episode of the Black Aristocrat Podcast King Series, Vernell shares his remarkable journey of overcoming the challenges of growing up in awkward environments and being a Black male in corporate America. Despite these obstacles, he became a high earner and achieved early retirement before the age of 55. And on top of all this amazingness, Ashley makes an effort to intentionally give back to the community.
