Title of paper: Strengthening the integration of primary care in pandemic response plans: A qualitative interview study of Canadian family physicians
Available at: https://doi.org/10.3399/BJGP.2022.0350
Previous pandemic plans have largely overlooked the important role of primary care in a pandemic response. The COVID-19 pandemic presents a novel opportunity to examine the key roles family physicians play during a pandemic, and sheds light on existing barriers and supports. Findings from this study highlight the need for greater incorporation of primary care in the development of strengthened pandemic plans.
