He identified the protection of property rights as key—also one of the tenants of Bitcoin. He also foresaw the need to dissolve and renew the social contract in the case that the existing government ceases to protect private property. Jean Jacque Rousseau recognized the need for perfect democracy, which Bitcoin fulfills, while Rawls noted that a central authority was unnecessary, as Bitcoin proves.
