Stats of note this week are the number of shorts falling off a cliff, the difficulty not budging despite almost 2x in price movement in 2 months, CME volume is surging again, and mempool being elevated. We are already going on the longest bear market cycle (if the low isn’t in), but we need to shake off the altcoins. That’s my main focus. Like I’ve said previously, ethereum is the epicenter of the deceptive marketing and hot air. Fidelity custody VanEck/CBOE ETF Japan BTC/JPY briefly became the largest fiat trading pair, now down to 75% of USD volume, but up from 40%. ETF is still submitted for Japan. Retail investors over there don’t buy ETFs, the govt does. In an interesting twist, it might be Japan's plan to buy bitcoin. SETTLENET - Blockstream and Digital Garage form Crypto Garage. To use SETTLENET with the first application being a JPY stablecoin. Bitstamp’s parent company Nexon is being sold Bid on by Tencent and a South Korean consortium led by Netmarble joins bidding FED Best Jan since 1987 in the US.The Fed was supposed to raise rates 2 or 3x in 2019 and another 2x in 2020, but they now inserted the word “patient”.
