Show Notes
The Uniswap Foundation concluded 2025 with $85.8 million in assets, including $49.9 million in cash and stablecoins, $15.1 million in UNI tokens, and $240 ETH. They announced unaudited financials, showing strong positioning before significant changes. The foundation committed $26 million in new grants and paid out $11 million from old ones. Operating costs reached $9.7 million, excluding $450,000 UNI for staff awards. Revenue generated $20.3 million UNI from the treasury and $1.7 million in interest. This snapshot precedes the UNIfication proposal, which will reshape the foundations relationship with the Uniswap ecosystem and create a new entity called DUNI. The foundation has over $106 million set aside for grants and $26.3 million for operations and team tokens, providing a runway until January 2027. This comes as Uniswap version four was successfully launched with custom liquidity hooks and Unichain for faster DeFi, onboarding over 1,500 developers.
