North Dakota Supreme Court Justice Daniel Crothers, after two decades of service, is retiring on February 28th. His legal career, which included roles as a lawyer and State Bar Association president, has shaped his tenure on the bench. Mark Friese will succeed him, with Crothers endorsing him as an excellent fit. Post-retirement, Crothers looks forward to teaching and farming.
