Nineteen-year-old Remeon Martez Lewis, charged with murder in the shooting death of Demarious Cherry, is back in custody after skipping a bond hearing. The incident occurred in Birminghams Kingston neighborhood in February 2025. Lewis was initially released on bond but fled, leading to an arrest warrant.
