Show Notes
Thirty-four-year-old Joseph Lee Rainey from Munford, Talladega County, pleaded guilty to armed robbery and illegal gun possession. He admitted to holding up a Marathon gas station at gunpoint in 2025, after a long criminal history that made him ineligible to own firearms. Rainey led police on a high-speed chase following the robbery, and a nine millimeter pistol matching the robbery weapon was found in the car he abandoned. Sentencing details are yet to be revealed.
