National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health offers free black lung screenings for Alabama coal miners from April 9th to 14th. Six locations across the state will host the screenings using a mobile unit. The confidential exams include a chest x-ray, blood pressure check, breathing test, and health questionnaire.
