The forty-third Alabama State Games, taking place from June twelfth to fourteenth, 2026, will feature over five thousand athletes competing in nearly thirty sports. The opening ceremony at Legacy Arena in Birmingham is free and includes scholarship drawings. The games, started in 1982, have awarded over four hundred fifty thousand dollars in scholarships.
