S2 Ep 12Casual Cartoons: 1980's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
EIf there's one constant in the ATH Network, it's that at some point Bryan and Jon will get together to talk about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and this week on the now renamed Casual Cartoons is no different. The two episodes up for discussion are Season One's "Hot Rodding Teenagers From Dimension X" and Season Three's "Leatherhead Meets The Rat King." One episode has the lore, and the other has two of the most fun villains of the show going head to head. Come join our heroes in a half shell for a fun discussion that will inevitably veer off into all the other iterations of the IP. Well, except maybe the latest series...

S2 Ep 11Short Update and ATH's Kubo and the Two Strings
EWe have a quick update on the status of Casual Cartoons, as well as plans to record the Venture Bros finale that was promised all that time ago. There's also talk about the upcoming Frisky Dingo podcast and whether or not Matt will be one of the cohosts. He will. Maybe? For sure.As for the rest of today's episode: Kubo and the Two Strings was another one of those Laika films that was a bit overlooked at the box office, which is a shame. It's a marvelous piece of animation with a great story and some heavy emotion. Cheers.

S2 Ep 10Corona Cartoons: The Pagemaster
EThis week on Corona Cartoons Bryan is joined by Alex Orona from Super GG Radio and friend Katherine Cliff to discuss the the Macaulay Culkin movie The Pagemaster. If you've ever seen those posters in the library with celebrities that say "READ," this movie is essentially that. Come for the Macaulay Culkin trivia, stay for the fun animated film that has a love for film and that really wants kids to read.Note: Bryan also gives some updates about the show at the top of the episode and what to expect before the upcoming Frisky Dingo season.

S2 Ep 9Corona Cartoons: The Secret of NIMH
EThis week on Corona Cartoons we're discussing the Don Bluth film The Secret of NIMH, which marks his departure from Disney and the beginning of quite the interesting pivot in his filmography. If the name doesn't sound familiar to you, the films might. From here he went on to do An American Tail, Land Before Time, Rock-A-Doodle, as well as the video games Dragon's Lair and Space Ace. This movie is also maybe linked to our love of rats in general. A great episode and a fun discussion. We also give an update to the status of Corona Cartoons and the upcoming Frisky Dingo podcast.

S2 Ep 8Corona Cartoons: Batman Ninja (From ATH Ep. 278)
EBryan's life is slowly returning to normal, but still no new episode of Corona Cartoons this week. We bring to you in its place, After the Hype's episode on the totally insane Batman Ninja! Enjoy! Regular episodes to return next week!

S2 Ep 7Corona Cartoons: Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
EThis week on Corona Cartoons we're back on the Batman train with Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, a film that almost no one saw in the theater. Or maybe you saw it if your parents were cool. Anyway, we brought back Ben Kurstin and Chewie joined us and we had a grand ol' time, so you probably want to check this out right quick.**Disclaimer had some audio issues with a crunchy noise that was persistent. Thought the conversation was too good to not release, apologies all around, please still enjoy!!**

S2 Ep 6Carona Cartoons: Batman The Animated Series
EThis week on Corona Cartoons: A Venture Bros Podcast, Bryan is joined by Matt Dykes, Adam Slutsky, and Ben Kurstin to discuss one of the best cartoons in recent history - Batman: The Animated Series. They all dive into what made the show so great as well as discuss the episodes "Joker's Favor," "Heart of Ice," "Read My Lips," and "Feat of Clay: Parts 1 & 2." If you haven't seen the show, stop what you're doing and watch all of it, and then return and listen. If you've seen it...listen first and then go rewatch all of it. We don't make the rules.

S2 Ep 5Corona Cartoons: Who Framed Roger Rabbit
EThis week on Corona Cartoons Bryan and Chewie are joined by Rae Deslich to discuss the classic Who Framed Roger Rabbit, which leads to a fascinating look at L.A. history.

S2 Ep 4Corona Cartoons: Doug & The Angry Beavers
EThis week on Corona Cartoons Bryan is joined by Jeff Frumess to talk about two very wonderful classics: Doug & The Angry Beavers. It's kind of wild how old these cartoons are, and yet they somehow feel like they're only a few years old. If you haven't seen these shows in awhile, you owe it to yourself to revisit. Enjoy!

S2 Ep 3Corona Cartoons: Cowboy Bebop
EThis week on Corona Cartoons we've brought on Johnny Recher and Samantha Garrison to talk about Cowboy Bebop, perhaps one of the greatest anime series of all time. It's the one show that has the ability to appeal to people from vastly different walks of life, even 20+ years on. If you haven't had a chance to rewatch, you probably should...and then listen to us take a deep dive on why the show has the staying power it does.

S2 Ep 2Corona Cartoons: Rick and Morty
EBryan pulled a real Rusty Venture and lost all the audio to pt. 2 of Clerks... HOWEVER, we have a super fun episode on a show we never thought we would talk about, Rick and Morty! Emily Blake picked 3 episodes for Bryan and Chewie to scratch the surface of this animated juggernaut!

S2 Ep 1Corona Cartoons: Clerks Animated Series Pt. 1
EThe Corona Virus means that we can't record our Venture Bros wrap up, which in turn means we can't quite get to our Frisky Dingo watch-through. Bummer, right? Well, not anymore, because we're making lemonade out of a virus and doing a series about a bunch of different cartoons while we wait for this whole mess to blow over. We're starting our "Corona Cartoons" with the Clerks animated series. Well, the first half at least.
S1 Ep 857.10: The Saphrax Protocol
EAlas, dear listener. We've come to the end of series...for now. There are no more Venture Bros episodes for us to discuss and break down (poorly) so take in this last opportunity while you still can. "But Shownotes Writer," you ask softly, "what comes after Venture Bros?" That's a good question, and one that our heroes answer pretty quickly. All you gotta do is push that play button and just go to town on the audio. Like, listen the shit out of it.INTRO MUSIC COURTESYBradley David Parsons inspired by JG ThrilwellRESEARCH COURTESYBrok Holliday
S1 Ep 847.09: The Forecast Manufacturer
EThis week on Venture Bros...SNOW! Bryan Dressel, Graham "Brock" Mason, and Matt "Dean Venture" Dykes discuss the penultimate episode of season seven (and possibly the series? At least until there's more? Please make more?) The Forecast Manufacturer. Both this episode and the finale are deeply connected so advanced warning that there might be some callouts to moments from next week. There's also some serious hints to the next show we'll be doing after we complete Venture Bros. You love to hear it. INTRO MUSIC COURTESYBradley David Parsons inspired by JG ThrilwellRESEARCH COURTESYBrok Holliday
S1 Ep 837.08: The Terminus Mandate
EThis week on the podcast Bryan Dressel, Graham "Scott Hall" Mason, and Matt "Tim-Tom" Dykes discuss The Terminus Mandate in which the Guild Council are required to face their arch rivals one last time before becomming full members of the council. Rusty also trains to go on a date with a top notch prostitute who kills everyone she sleeps with. Does it go well? * J. S1 Ep 827.07: The Unicorn in Captivity
EThis week on Venture Bros, A Venture Brothers Podcast Bryan Dressel, Graham "Princess Tinglepants" Mason, and Matt "Catclops" Dykes discuss the season seven episode "The Unicorn in Captivity." Easily one of the better episodes of the season, "Unicorn" sees the Monarch joining a heist featuring some wild characters, and a particularly powerful invention that takes Rusty down an interesting path. Wub wub wub.INTRO MUSIC COURTESYBradley David Parsons inspired by JG ThrilwellRESEARCH COURTESYBrok Holliday

EThis week on the podcast Bryan Dressel, Graham "H.E.L.P.eR. MOD-2" Mason, and Matt "Corporal Snoopy" Dykes talk The Inamorata Consequence, which is quite enjoyable...unless you're Matt. The Guild of Calamitous Intent and the OSI renegotiate their contract, Hank reunites with Dermot, and Dean goes back to the place where he learned that he and Hank were clones...only to find out that Rusty was ALSO A CLONE. Oh, and did you know that H.E.L.P.eR. MOD-2 was voiced by Rhys Darby? Fun!INTRO MUSIC COURTESYBradley David Parsons inspired by JG ThrilwellRESEARCH COURTESYBrok Holliday

Or as Bryan likes to call it: Season Seven Proper.INTRO MUSIC COURTESYBradley David Parsons inspired by JG ThrilwellRESEARCH COURTESYBrok Holliday
S1 Ep 787.03: Arrears in Science
EThis week on the podcast, Bryan Dressel, Graham "Dr. Z" Mason, and Matt "Sgt. Hatred" Dykes take for F*CKING ever to get the episode started, but that's okay because the whole thing involves messing with Matt. And then it's on to the jam-packed conclusion to the Morphic Trilogy, which has some very "potent" science. Also, Dr. Jonas Venture is just pure evil.INTRO MUSIC COURTESYBradley David Parsons inspired by JG ThrilwellRESEARCH COURTESYBrok Holliday

S1 Ep 756.08: Red Means Stop
EAfter a whole month of scheduling and Star Wars shenanigans, we're back with a new episode of Venture Bros! This week Bryan Dressel, Nick "Frasier" Friedemann, and Matt "Cheers" Dykes discuss the finale of season six. Or rather...the NON-finale, amirite? It's good, but you could combine this and the following couple of episodes in season seven into one long episode. Anyway, thanks for your patience and enjoy!INTRO MUSIC COURTESYBradley David Parsons inspired by JG ThrilwellRESEARCH COURTESYBrok Holliday

EThis week on the podcast Bryan Dressel, Chewie "The Yogi Bear Show" Darsow, and Matt "The Pink Panther" Dykes talk "Rapacity in Blue," the mid-season episode of season six with all the problems mentioned last week with its serialized storytelling. Lot of details to juggle and sometimes it gets fuzzy what happens where and when. But hey, we get more Blue Morpho so that's awesome!INTRO MUSIC COURTESYBradley David Parsons inspired by JG ThrilwellRESEARCH COURTESYBrok Holliday
S1 Ep 706.03: Faking Miracles
EThis week on the podcast Bryan Dressel, Nick "Scooby Doo, Where Are You" Friedemann, and Matt "The Jetsons" Dykes talk "Faking Miracles" and get into some legit Blue Morpho shit. Yeah! Well, kinda. EThis week on the podcast Bryan Dressel, Nick "The Flintstones" Friedemann, and Matt "Adam Ant" Dykes talk the next episode of season six - "Maybe No Go" - and discuss how the season as a whole has shifted its format to be more serialized and as such, makes it harder to remember everything that happens in any given episode.INTRO MUSIC COURTESYBradley David Parsons inspired by JG ThrilwellRESEARCH COURTESYBrok Holliday

EThis week on the Venture Bros podcast Bryan Dressel, Nick "Wacky Races" Friedemann, and Matt "Johnny Quest" Dykes talk about the season six opener "Hostile Makeover," which starts rather abruptly. This week on the podcast Bryan Dressel, Graham "The Question" Mason, and Nick "Namor" (He said "Aquaman, but angrier" twice) Friedemann talk about the penultimate episode of the season, which is more lore-heavy than laugh-out-loud funny. S1 Ep 554.14: Assisted Suicide
This week on the podcast Bryan Dressel, Graham "Superman" Mason, and Nick "The Huntress" Friedemann talk Assisted Suicide, which is the name of the next episode of the show and not the actual topic of discussion. S1 Ep 544.13: Bright Lights, Dean City
This week on the podcast Bryan Dressel, Nick "Superman" Friedemann, and Matt "Manchester Black" Dykes talk "Bright Lights, Dean City" the brother episode to last week's episode. Short review: Bryan is not a huge fan of it. He just "likes it" like Nick "liked" last week's episode. At least there are some great recurring gags to make things better. S1 Ep 534.12: Everybody Comes To Hank's
This week on the show Bryan Dressel, Nick "Starman" Friedemann, and Matt "Constantine" Dykes talk one of Graham's favorite episodes, which is unfortunate timing as Graham couldn't make it. S1 Ep 524.11: Any Which Way But Zeus
This week on the show Bryan Dressel, Nick "Superboy" Friedemann, and Graham "Merc" Mason discuss this strangely forgettable episode that worked in some areas but not others.
