Former Giant and current Assistant Coach on the University of Nebraska Omaha baseball team Darin Ruf joins Extra Innings with Bill Laskey. Darin shares his journey from being drafted by the Phillies to playing in Korea and eventually returning to the States with the San Francisco Giants and New York Mets. He opens up about the challenges of adjusting to new leagues, cultures, and lifestyles, and how these experiences shaped him as a player and a person. With a career spanning over a decade, Darren reflects on the highs and lows, and how his experiences have led him to his current role as a coach, where he's now giving back to the game he loves.
