Seventh-seeded Idaho became the first team in Big Sky Conference tournament history to win four straight games to advance to the NCAA Tournament by posting a 77-66 win over Montana. The Vandals (21-14) advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1990. Montana was gunning for its 14th NCAA Tournament bid in its 7th championship game appearance in 11 years under Travis DeCuire. No. 1 Idaho won for the 18th time in a row, setting a school record with their 29th win this season after toppling No. 2 Montana State 60-57 on Wednesday. Under second-year head coach Arthur Moreira, the Vandals are headed to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2016.
