Montana posted its fifth straight win in resounding fashion, trouncing rival Montana State 29-10 to earn a bye in the FCS playoffs for the second seasons in a row.
The Griz take the No. 6 seed in this year's postseason and will host fellow Big Sky Conference member Eastern Washington on Friday night in Missoula. EWU posted a 19-9 victory over Northern Iowa last week. The Eagles handed the Griz one of their two losses this season, beating UM 34-28 in Cheney on October 3.
