Wests Tigers have announced boom five-eighth Lachlan Galvin will depart the team at the end of the 2026 season in a major blow for the club's rebuild.
Coach Benji Marshall had hoped to build his squad around the 19-year-old star for the next decade, with the Tigers desperate to fend off a host of rivals eager to swoop on the youngster.
Danny Weidler reports that Galvin's management had told Shane Richardson that Galvin doesn't believe Benji can get the best out of him as a play. Animosity? I'm sure there would be... Early Release?...
