Bill was raised in Chicago within a family of factory workers. He enlisted in the Army Reserves and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he secured a place in the corporate world. Unfulfilled by his career in corporate steel sales, Bill and his wife, Carol, teamed up with Art Williams in 1974 to become early members of Primerica, originally called A.L. Williams and Associates. Bill emerged as a leading figure in the company, a role he continues to hold alongside one of his sons. Bill is the author of "Locker Room Notes," "The Art Williams Phenomenon," "The Multiples Playbook," "The Deception of the Corporate Dream," and "A.L Williams Changed My Whole Life."
