Danny Cipriani is a former professional rugby player - but his name was on the front pages of the tabloids as often as the sports backpages.
He was the youngest ever player in Premiership Rugby to make his international debut aged 20 and his undeniable talent captivated rugby fans worldwide.
But off the pitch, Danny’s private life was heavily scrutinised in the press. His new book Who Am I? is his first memoir and he talks openly about his mental health challenges and brushes with the law.
And in all honesty, I was taken back by how different Danny was in this interview, compared to the man I’d met over 10 years ago. You can tell he’s gone on such a journey of self-discovery and feels at peace with his past.
