The guys give some thoughts on Jermall Charlo's unanimous decision win to retain his Middleweight Championship last Saturday night. Then, they both get in the preview mode for the Saturday night July 20th Welterweight showdown on PPV for Manny Pacquiao and Keith Thurman in Las Vegas.
The guys ventured to the legendary St. Pete Boxing Club to talk with multi-time trainer of World Champs, Dan Birmingham about being in Thurman's corner for this one. Dan gives great insight into trying to block out the hype of Thurman appearing on pay per view for the first time against a Hall of Fame fighter.
Then, T.J. is joined by Antione Williams of "The GOAT Boxing Promotions" in Houston, Texas. Antione was ringside for the Charlo-Adams title fight in Houston last Saturday night and has insight on Charlo's left hand injury suffered in the fight and what it means for his future? Next, T.J. and Antione discuss possible new opponents for Canelo Alvarez this fall.
Finally, T.J. and Marquis put a wrap on this edition looking towards an international fight or two to watch coming up.
