Throughout her illness, Shay had no problem finding medical and emotional support. Then there was a sudden recognition that post-cure was an entirely different thing. From hosting a Blues show on his high school radio station to more than four decades heading up publicity and artist relations departments at iconic companies like IRS Records and Capitol Records, Cary oversaw public relations for artists you may have heard of: REM, Bonnie Raitt, Paul McCartney, Tina Turner, Beastie Boys, and MCHammer just to rattle off a few. He started his own firm, too - Conqueroo, whose artists included Randy’s favorite: Tony Joe White. You’re going to love the stories and the musical history.
