While the other commandments address sins that can be seen by others, the tenth commandment tackles covetousness, which hides in the heart. It's in our hearts that unhelpful expectations breed ungodly desires, leading in turn to sin and death. But God sees the heart, and Jesus changes it, giving us a path to righteousness and life.
