AEW boasts one of the most formidable women’s divisions in professional wrestling today. However, it often feels like an afterthought.
In this episode, we delve into the growing frustration with Tony Khan’s booking decisions for AEW’s women’s division. We explore why possessing elite talent is insufficient if it is not provided with adequate time, compelling storylines, or consistent development. From emerging stars such as Megan Bayne and Zayda Steel to established figures like Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, and Deonna Purrazzo, this roster is exceptionally talented.
Despite this, we question why we continue to receive only one segment per show. Furthermore, we examine the emerging perception that storylines involving Toni Storm or Mercedes Moné receive significantly more attention, build, and storytelling compared to others.
