Show Notes
Today Christina's guest on the show is her client, Emma. Last year, Emma joined Cut and Conquer Fitness, took part in a six-month program, then went on her own for a couple of months, and maintained her progress, using the tools she learned from Cut and Conquer Fitness to grow and learn on her own. Now, she is returning for another program.
In this episode, they discuss:
- Emma's experience as a client with Cut and Conquer Fitness
- The main things that she learned during her six-month program
- Body image struggles that she has faced throughout her life
- The importance of customizing when trying to lose fat and why doing random things isn't a good approach
- The changes she experienced in her mental and physical health once she began working towards her fitness plan
Memorable Quotes:
"In order to achieve success, it's really important to have good communication with your clients, not just to have compassion, but to listen to what they're feeling in their program, and what's working and what's not working, and then together come up with what's the best step going forward."
"No matter who your coaches are, how good your program is, if you aren't willing to put in the work, you're not going to get those results, you're not going to see the changes."
"You should not be comparing to others. If you're going to compare at all, the healthiest comparison to make is with yourself. How can you improve who you are compared to who you were yesterday?"
