On April 7th, 1994, after taking off from the Memphis International Airport, FedEx employee Auburn Calloway hijacked a DC-10 intending to crash the plane. He was being investigated at work and wasn't doing financially well. He updated his will and life insurance policy beneficiaries to benefit his family.
