Motheo Skills and Early Learning Centre One is a day care Centre situated in Wallmannsthal. The center accommodates 44 children. 70% of the children’s parents are not working and those that are working commute between Pretoria, Centurion and Johannesburg and Wallmannsthal. This serves as motivation to operate a crèche that takes care of the children from 06h00 to 18h00, from Monday to Friday while theirparents are at work. The tuition fees paid by parents does not cover teachers’ salaries,teachers earn R1600.00 per month, which is not a decent salary, and as a result the teachers do not last, they leave for better opportunities.
