Show Notes
The Honorable Leeanne Enoch is Minister for Innovation, Science and the Digital Economy and Minister for Small Business in the seat of Algester in QLD. In what is a massive deal for me and this very show - her wonderful staff reached out to me and asked if I could come and interview her. Considering the work she's doing and the story that she has to tell, I jumped at the chance. Leeanne is the first Aboriginal Australian Woman to be elected into the QLD Parliament, a woman who grew up On Country in North Stradbroke Island and then in Woodridge housing commission on the southern fringes of Brisbane. Her story at points moved me to tears, and I'm sure it will do the same to you. We speak about women in power, growing up on country, and what the economy of the future might look like.
