Show Notes

JP Finlay, Mitch Tischler and Pete Hailey (and, eventually, Ethan Cadeaux) gathered in the parking lot at the team facility in Ashburn for this Washington Football Talk, which acts both as a recap of Ron Rivera and Martin Mayhew's Monday pre-draft press conference and a preview of the festivities that are upcoming this weekend. During their time together, the hosts reflect on the updates(-ish) on Chase Young and Curtis Samuel, analyze the lack of workout videos posted to social media featuring Young, respond to the Commanders' hard push to sell Carson Wentz and debate the merits of drafting a corner vs. a wide receiver at No. 11. To close out their preview of the draft, each of the four fellas gives their prediction of whom the Commanders will select in the first round. From there, they toss to an interview with standout Georgia linebacker Nakobe Dean, who gives excellent responses about his future in the league and what he makes of Pete and JP's milk consumption habits. After Dean, you'll hear from Joey Colby-Begovich, a VP of Guest Experience for the Commanders who hands out pertinent info relating to the club's FedEx Field Draft night party. If you like podcasts where you learn of a new accessory that Mitch now has and witness JP grovel for concert tickets, then this is the episode for you.
