Welcome to another episode of Bella in your business your Business. My name is Bella Vasta. And today we're gonna get a little personal. I've been doing a lot of thinking about a topic. And obviously, you know what it is because you've seen the title of these habits and behaviors. And I'm gonna get pretty personal today in hopes of inspiring you to action. But first, before we get into it, I'd like to encourage you all to like, subscribe, and share the podcast with any of, your friends or colleagues that you think would benefit from it. And I also want to give a shout-out and say thank you to all of you who are binging on Bella right now I just got a message from someone who is at episode 250. And she's working through all of them. And just like, you know, soaking it all up. So thank you. You all have been asking me a lot about how I stay positive. How do I accomplish things when, when life gets tough? How do I do all the things? Because yeah, it does seem like I am everywhere. And that's a conversation to have for, you know, I have a really good team, I have good people around me. And we've done we've done episodes on that too.
But I'm gonna make this one even more personal. And I'm gonna let you into what's been going on in my head, and my own personall life, again, in hopes that you can draw some parallels, and be inspired to just you know, make some, make some turns and make some tweaks as you see fit. And as you need. We all know that the more you grow personally, the more it affects the rest of your entire life, right? So if there are things that you're struggling with in your business right now, and you can't figure out what is going on, chances are it all starts from within you. And so if our focus is only on our business, where does it leave you personally and self-development-wise? What are you doing for self-development? And even more than that, I'm going to explain to you what self-development means in my own life. So it's not just some shiny buzzword that we just throw around, because that's not helpful to anyone. Now, a theme that's been happening with me and a few of my friends, it's been pretty powerful in the past two months. While discussing this with my inner circle, I realized we've even said, hey, it would be a great episode to talk about habits and behaviors. And I also want to make it mentioned that it can be applied to anything in life. And it's really important to know what stage you are in your life, like do it mental inventory. I mean, some of us must be might be on the struggle bus right now, some might be dealing with depression, either chronic depression or acute depression, some of us might be very lonely, and then that itself, it just feels like death. Sometimes, isolation, it's very easy to be isolated as a business owner. And it's arguably one of the worst things that you could ever do. Because with isolation, all of those other things develop. So, in my own life, you all know that I got a divorce back in January 2020. And it was difficult. It was very difficult. I had to go through a lot of healing, and and then realignment. And then I finally entered into this blossoming phase where I felt like it was okay to dream again, it was okay to have a vision again, it was okay to see beyond just today. I felt like I was like this, this butterfly coming out of a cocoon. And things were being shattgereshatteredd in my life, things that I used to do, I just kind of didn't have an interest in them anymore. And things that Peoplpeoplee I was hanging out with or activities I was doing, it just kind of lost interest because they weren't pushing me forward. They weren't doing the things I'm about to talk about today. And what I had to figure out is what I wanted, because that's really important. I was on a coaching call on Friday, and there was a gal that was like, hey, I want to learn how to take my boarding from my house and make $200,000. And I was like, Well, why $200,000? What do you want for your life? Like, what's the number like let's reverse engineer this, we need a goal, we need a vision. And that's the thing like you need to know what you want in order to go out and get it because it's not going to just like fall in your lap. You have to be intentional about it. Then after I figured out what I wanted, I had to figure out was I ready to go for it. Was I ready to do what it took to get there and then also kind of reflect on the other times in my life when I've done it? What worked when I was trying to do it and what what didn't work for me. So it's being aware of yourself and how you work. My personpersonalpersonall journey has been a lot of moving forward, falling forward correcting and continuing fighting Looking for clarity and discovery of myself and those around me. But no matter what, like, I always have this burning desire that I want to be better. I always want to be the best version of myself. And for me first, now, when I'm unhealthy, I will say I want to be the best. And I mean, that's just not really attainable, or achievable. Because I mean, if you like to zoom out, you know, there's always gonna be people that are better than you, quote, unquote. But can you be the best version of yourself? What does the best version of yourself look like? I want you to think about that right? Now. pause it if you need to, What does your life look like? What does the best version of yourself look like? Because that version is going to be the version that we're going to strive for your inspiration. You can find inspiration everywhere. But I want you to be careful about that outward inspiration is never long-term sustainable.
Your inspiration needs to come from within yourself, that burning fire inside so that when the winds come, your fire doesn't die out, it spreads more like a brush or a wildfire.
