Eva Marcille steps Behind The Rope. Where do we begin with the woman who has done it all? Eva first came to the world’s attention when she won the third cycle of America’s Next Top Model in 2004. Eva opens up about that experience, addressing the many people who are constantly bashing Tyra, chatting about her experience with Tyra while appearing on ANTM, explaining the status of that Tyra friendship today and discussing Janice Dickinson’s recent comment a few months back about her nose. Eva takes us on the journey of how life changed as a result of winning Top Model and what the show did for her modeling career after. One door that opened as a result of ANTM, was the wonderful world of acting. Eva discusses the many parts she played including that of “Tyra” on The Young and The Restless as well as appearing in JLO’s “Live It Up” video. All roads lead back to Reality TV here Behind The Rope and in a full circle moment, Eva found herself back on Reality TV, this time as an initial “Friend Of” and then Peach Holder on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She chats about the evolution of her friendship with Nene - whose friend she was when she started with RHOA, some of her other epic up and down relationships - Porsha and Kenya we are looking at you, her cameos this past just finished season - who could resist an invitation to the Bailey-Hill wedding and the controversy surrounding throwing a star studded 250 person in the height of a global pandemic, her opinions on Nene’s “departure” and answers whether she misses the hit Bravo show and if she will ever go back. Eva also chats Tyler Perry’s “All The Queen’s Men” in which she plays lead, Madame Marilyn Deville, the owner of a high class club featuring male exotic dancers. Eve chats about how she got the part, how she researched for the part, what working with Tyler Perry was like, and what she learned about the male exotic dancer industry.
